These photos and videos may be used in studio advertisements and promotional materials, including but not limited to: brochures, websites, social media posts, and other promotional content created by the studio. Photos may appear with or without names in press releases and other print advertising. Acknowledgment of Risk and Waiver of Liability I understand and agree that participating or hosting in any dance practice, class, or event at How About DANCE Studio involves inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury, permanent disability, or, in rare circumstances, death. I acknowledge my responsibility to be aware of my own and/or my guests' physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. If I am signing this waiver on behalf of my guest, I certify that I have the authority to waive these rights. In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in dance (the “Activity”) and as consideration for the right to participate, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability. I waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of action of any kind arising out of my, and/or my guest's participation in the Activity, and hereby release and forever discharge How About DANCE Studio, its affiliates, owners, staff, instructors, volunteers, agents, heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns from any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economic or emotional loss, that may occur as a direct result of participation in the Activity, including travel to and from the event. I acknowledge that I and/or my guests are voluntarily participating in this Activity at our own risk. I am aware of the potential risks associated with travel to and from, as well as participating in this Activity, which may include but are not limited to physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own, my guests', or others’ negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the Activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known and unknown, of my and/or my guest's participation in this Activity. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless How About DANCE Studio against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone acting on my behalf. Should How About DANCE Studio incur any of these expenses, I agree to reimburse them. I acknowledge that How About DANCE Studio and its directors, officers, instructors, volunteers, representatives, and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act by any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of How About DANCE Studio. I understand that this Activity may involve testing physical and mental limits and may carry the risk of serious injury or death. Risks may include but are not limited to those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, lack of hydration, participant condition, equipment, vehicular traffic, and actions of others, including participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, event monitors, and/or producers of the event. Release of Liability I acknowledge that I have carefully read this “Waiver and Release” and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I expressly agree to release and discharge How About DANCE Studio and all its affiliates, owners, staff, instructors, volunteers, agents, heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all claims or causes of action. I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I may have to bring a legal action against How About DANCE Studio for personal injury or property damage. To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of How About DANCE Studio, its agents, instructors, and employees. In the event that I or my guest require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I acknowledge that I should carry my own health insurance. In the event that any damage to equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my or my guests’ willful actions, neglect, or recklessness, I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with such actions. This Agreement was entered into freely and voluntarily, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both the Participant and How About DANCE Studio agree that this Agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence will be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this Agreement. If any provision of this Release of Liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, as long as the severed clause does not affect the intent of the parties. If limiting any provision would make it valid and enforceable, then it shall be construed and enforced as so limited. I, the undersigned participant, affirm that I am 18 years of age or older, and that I am freely signing this agreement. I certify that I have read this agreement, fully understand its content, and understand that this release cannot be modified orally. • What should I wear to class?
Anything that makes you feel comfortable and confident! At How About DANCE Studio, we want you to be able to move freely and express yourself, so wear whatever helps you do just that. Here are some general tips: Comfort is Key: Opt for clothes that allow you to move easily, like sweatpants, leggings, shorts, or athletic wear. Footwear: Depending on the class, you might need sneakers or dance shoes. For K-pop and hip-hop classes, clean, non-marking sneakers work great. For contemporary or lyrical, you might prefer socks or going barefoot. Dress for the Style: Each dance style has its own recommended attire. For example, streetwear is popular for hip-hop, while something more fitted is great for contemporary. Not sure what to wear? Check out the MV we posted for each class and mimic the original dancer's style! Express Yourself: Feel free to bring your own flair—whether it’s bold colors, fun accessories, or layering pieces. Just make sure it’s safe to dance in (nothing too loose that might get in the way). Safety First: Avoid wearing jewelry or accessories that could get caught or cause injury. Ultimately, it’s totally up to you! As long as you feel good and can move comfortably, you’re all set.
